Customer demand

In this case, the customer wants to wash and peel beets or carrots at 10 tonnes per hour. In this case, the steam peeling line is part of a washing and steam peeling line.

Peeling

After the product has been washed, it goes to the steam peeler. Here, the peel is removed from the product by means of steam under high pressure. A stirring arm inside the peeler ensures that all the product is peeled properly. The steam is discharged into a blow-off vessel after each cycle.
