The internal defects analyser is designed to detect anomalies within potatoes. This is done by cutting a potato into slices. The machine is divided in two parts.

The first part is the automated cutter, which cuts the potatoes in even slices. These slices will be put on the conveyor of the second part of the machine. The camera will detect any defects in the potato parts and will write these results to an online database. All of the values will also be displayed on the screen.

The combination of these two parts makes for a reliable and constant way of grading potato’s and detecting any anomalies within the potato.
