Date of market introduction in Belgium (if still in development: expected date of launch)

Pole selection with cameras and AI is not a new idea. Until now, this is usually done from a cart in the highest class.
Thanks to automated drones, it will be possible to do larger areas and also perform this cost-saving technique in the lower classes of seed potatoes.
Added value for the user (in commercial terms, user-friendliness ...)
If a field sprayer can indicate diseased plants in advance with dye, it becomes possible to have the removal of the plant carried out by untrained and thus cheaper personnel.
In the future, it might even become possible to immediately eradicate them at an early stage so that this can be avoided completely
Added value for the further sustainability and professionalization of the potato sector.
Allows faster and efficient monitoring of Y virus to ensure better feed production.
It will also potentially be associated with less use of aphidicides.
