Introducing the E2E SteamClosure, developed with Dutch company Solutherm. This innovation improves the potato flake production process, which involves drying potato puree on a heated drum, releasing significant steam. The patented E2E SteamClosure captures this steam in its pure form, preventing air contamination and allowing it to be reused effectively.
The system feeds steam into the E2E FlowCondenser, transforming it into hot water (85-95°C) that can be repurposed in other stages of production, such as blanching, heating, or cleaning. This revolutionary process focuses on converting extracted moisture into reusable water, promoting sustainability.
Tested in a live production environment, the E2E SteamClosure exceeded expectations. According to R&D Engineer Dennis Rademakers, also available on stand 184, the results surpassed both internal and customer projections, highlighting the product’s success.
The E2E concept enables a future-proof, sustainable production process, transforming emissions into energy. Beyond emission reduction, the hermetically sealed design stabilizes the drying process by maintaining constant temperature and humidity, ensuring better quality control. Additionally, the sterile, air-free environment enhances hygiene, while the automatic draining feature reduces condensation and cleaning requirements.
Overall, the E2E SteamClosure benefits both customers and the planet by promoting efficiency, hygiene, and sustainability in the production process.
