Maschio Gaspardo Benelux
is the sales branch of Maschio, Gaspardo, Unigreen and Feraboli products for the Benelux. Our company was founded in 2014 and was created by merging the sales areas of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In order to successfully work in this area, we recently moved into a new building in Ham, Belgium. Ham is centrally located for Belgium, strategic for Luxembourg and the south of the Netherlands.
However, the history of Maschio begins in 1964, when brothers Egidio and Giorio made their first agricultural tiller in the barn on the parental farm. The first 10 years were produced and developed from here. The first steps were also taken to market Maschio products abroad. In 1979 the available space turned out to be too small and the Terranova factory in Padova was purchased. This location, together with the rise of mechanization, resulted in enormous growth, to such an extent that expansion opportunities were soon sought.
Since 1994 with the takeover of Gaspardo, developments have followed at a rapid pace, such as setting up our own production centers in Romania (2003), China (2004) and India (2011). To expand the product range, the Unigreen sprayers factory was acquired in 2013 and that of Feraboli haymaking machines in 2014. An extensive collaboration was also announced with a plow manufacturer Moro.
In 2013, the year of Maschio's 50th anniversary, this all resulted in 60,000 machines sold in more than 100 countries for a total turnover of 280 million euros.
